Bollywood actors, Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath are in a legal mess. This is because their names have emerged in a cheating and breach of trust matter. The case has been registered at Murthal police station, which is located in Haryana’s Sonipat district. It was on January 22, 2025, when the FIR was lodged. Among the 13 accused, Shreyas and Alok’s names have emerged.
Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath’s involvement in a cheating case
According to a News 18 report, Shreyas and Alok, apart from the 13 people, have been booked under Sections 316 (2), 318 (2), and 318 (4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The charges levied on them include cheating, property transfer via deception, and breach of trust, to name a few. Now, the Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP), Ajeet Singh, has told The Print that the names of the actors were included in the list shared by the complainant when the statement was filed with the police. The ACP said:
“The main complaint is against the society that is alleged to have duped people of their money by luring them to invest. We will have to investigate what role, if any, is ascribed to Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath.”
