What happens in the film, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do? (Spoiler alert)
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do follows a forest officer named ‘Prajapati Pandey’ (played by Ayushmann Khurana). He lives in Prayagraj with his wife, ‘Aparna’ (played by Wamiqa Gabbi). ‘Aparna’ is a passionate journalist. ‘Nilofer Khan’ (played by Rakul Preet Singh) is ‘Prajapati’s’ colleague and best friend. One day, ‘Prajapati’s’ college friend, ‘Chanchal Kumari’ (played by Sara Ali Khan), comes to his office.
‘Chanchal’ is in love with ‘Sudhanshu Tiwari’ a.k.a ‘Sunny’ (played by Vishal Vashishtha). ‘Sunny’ is the son of MLA ‘Gajraj Tiwari’ (played by Tigmanshu Dhulia). But as ‘Chanchal’ belongs to a lower caste, she and ‘Sunny’ are dating in secret. However, things turned chaotic when a picture of ‘Sunny’ with a burkha-clad ‘Chanchal’ is out on a local newspaper. ‘Gajraj’ is enraged about this and orders his men to find who this burkha-clad woman is.
