While the back-to-back World Cup winners gave tough competition, 25-year-old Swiss player Dan Ndoye proved his calibre by scoring a crucial goal against the defending champions.
During the nail-biting match at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium, the Nottingham Forest winger found the back of the net in the 67th minute, calmly slotting the ball through Emiliano Martinez‘s legs after being played in by Ricardo Rodriguez to bring Switzerland level and reignite the contest.
