After performing in Mumbai on January 18, 19 and 21, British rock band Coldplay performed in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26. The band’s performance on Republic Day pulled around 1,34,000 people to the stadium, making it the biggest concert in India’s history.
Coldplay have supassed Diljit Dosanjh and Justin Bieber in concert numbers. Chris Martin and team became performers of the largest ticketed concert in India ever. Before this, this title was held by singers Diljit Dosanjh and Justin Bieber, with 50,000 people in attendance.
The band performed their setlist, including Fix You, My Universe and Viva La Vida at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The January 26 concert was Coldplay’s biggest ever as well. It surpassed the 83,000 mark from their Sydney gig in November 2024.
