Gaurav Gupta couldn’t feature in last year’s Paris Fashion Week due to a severe personal tragedy. The ace fashion designer’s atelier, located in Delhi, was destroyed due to a severe fire. Not only did he lose most of his valuable work, but most importantly, his wife, Navkirat Sodhi, was severely injured in the fire accident. A candle caused the fire accident, rapidly becoming an utterly uncontrollable mess. Unfortunately, while trying to extinguish the flames, Navkirat suffered huge burns.
