During one of his live shows, Udit was happily posing for selfies with his female fans. However, when a young girl approached him and kissed him after the selfie, he kissed her back on the lips. After Udit’s video went viral, the singer received a lot of hate from netizens.
Abhijeet Bhattacharya defends Udit Narayan
Now, in a recent interview with News18 Showsha, Udit Narayan’s colleague and friend, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, defended him. He stated that since Udit is a popular singer, these episodes are common. Stating how the girls were after him, and he didn’t forcefully kiss anyone, Abhijeet said:
“He’s Udit Narayan! Ladkiyaan unke peeche padhi thi. He didn’t pull anyone close to him. I’m sure that every time Udit performs, his wife accompanies him as a co-singer. Let him enjoy his success! He’s a romantic singer. He’s also a big khiladi and I’m an anari. Koi unke saath khelne ki koshish mat karo.”
