Young blood and fresh new faces is the reason why the Indian OTT space has become an exciting proposition not just for audiences but for filmmakers, too. Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan is set to make his debut as a filmmaker with the OTT show Stardom. Filmfare’s sources have confirmed that the show’s leads are going to be Lakshya and Sahher Bambba. Now that’s a totally new on-screen jodi and we’re loving it.
Our source said, “Lakshya and Sahher Bambba are part of an ensemble cast in Stardom. But Aryan wanted the show’s main leads to be new faces and that’s why Lakshya and Sahher were selected.” Our source has also confirmed that Aryan will not be part of the show’s promotional process. “Aryan has already made it known to Netflix that he will not promote the show in person. He won’t be giving any interviews or partake in promotional activities with the media or influencers.”
There’s been reports that Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh will have special appearances in the show. Bobby Doel and Mona Singh are also part of the cast playing key characters in the show. The audiences can also expect Karan Johar to make a special appearance.
