In a shocking development, Telugu producer Krishna Prasad Chowdhary was reportedly found hanging in a rented house in Goa. The Siolim police outpost received information about the filmmaker committing suicide and launched a probe.
As per the police, “Preliminary information suggests that Chowdary had been living alone in the flat for the past six to seven months. According to initial statements, his friends became concerned when he failed to respond to phone calls and messages this morning. They subsequently contacted the flat owner, who found Chowdary hanging and immediately informed the police.”
He was arrested by the Cyberabad police in 2023 on allegations of peddling drugs.
KP Chowdhary ventured into production with the film Kabali in 2016 and procured distribution rights to the films Sardar Gabbar Singh, Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Kanitan.
