The teaser launch event of The Great Indian Kapil Show was graced by Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur, and Krushna Abhishek. While the star cast of the show was posing for the shutterbugs, Kapil showcased his skills to prove why he is hailed as the comedy king. While everyone was posing, it was Sunil Grover, who was nowhere to be seen. Kapil took this chance to make a hilarious remark. Kapil Sharma took a slight dig at his old feud with Sunil and asked the team to wait until the latter came on the stage to pose with them. He said if the media witnesses that the cast posed without Sunil, then fabricated stories about the latter leaving the place will surface. After this, Sunil joined them, and the cast posed together. Kapil humorously said:
“Sunil paaji ko aane do. Phir aap likhoge voh phir bhaag gaye.”
