
Food and grocery delivery app, Zomato has bagged the approval from its board to rename itself ‘Eternal limited’. The company’s CEO, Deepinder Goyal recently shared the news, and the brand also unveiled the new logo for the food-tech giant. Eternal will comprise four major businesses, Zomato, Blinkit, District and Hyperpure. The corporate website is changing from zomato.com to eternal.com, and the stock ticker symbol is also moving from Zomato to ETERNAL. Deepinder Goyal reveals the actual reason he started Zomato
It was on February 6, 2025, when Deepinder Goyal took to his X (Twitter) and shared an announcement, which was linked to his letter to shareholders. In his letter, Zomato’s new logo for Eternal was used. Deepinder Goyal, in a formal way, bared his heart out and revealed how the company, Zomato began from scratch with a simple desire to serve, and now where it reached. Deepinder added that while Zomato has made tremendous wealth, not just for him but for his employees as well, his primary desire with this platform was never to earn money but he wanted to do something worthwhile. Deepinder Goyal further mentioned in the letter how Zomato was an accidental company that has reached the world of business, along with empowering everyone who is connected with this platform.
