Harshvardhan Rane and Pakistani actress, Mawra Hocane’s 2016 romantic film, Sanam Teri Kasam, was re-released on February 7, 2025. When the film was released in 2016, it could not make an impact and only made Rs. 91 crore when it ran. When the film was released again in 2025, it proved to be a major hit and surpassed the lifetime collection in about two days.
Sanam Teri Kasam’s re-release had an impressive start
When it was released, Harshvardhan and Mawara’s film had made only Rs. 8 crore net in 2016. When the film was re-released on February 7, 2025, on the opening day, it made Rs. 5.14 crore. In 2016, on day 1 the movie had made Rs. 1.3 crore on the first day, as per an India Times report. On February 8, 2025, the movie saw a further 15% rise and Rs. 5 crore was further added to the net total. On day 3 that is on February 9, 2025, the movie in total made Rs. 15 crore net.
