Chiranjeevis sexist comments start social media controversy

Chiranjeevi’s recent comments on wanting a grandson has triggered social media reactions. During Brahma Anandam’s press release event, the actor opened up about his wish to have a grandson who can “continue their legacy.”

He said, “When I’m at home, it doesn’t feel like I’m surrounded by my granddaughters; it feels like I’m a ladies’ hostel warden, surrounded by ladies all around.” Opening up further, he noted that he keeps telling Ram Charan to have a boy, so their legacy continues. “I’m scared that he might again have a girl, but he has lovely kids,” he added.

Many social media users showed disappointment about his comments about his grandchildren. Many also defended him while noting that his views are not wrong about wanting a boy in the family.
