Directed by Jofin T. Chacko and written by John Manthrikal from a story by Ramu Sunil, the film stars Asif Ali, Anaswara Rajan, and the legendary Mammootty. The story unfolds in the eerie yet scenic town of Malakkappara, where police officer Vivek (Asif Ali) investigates a suicide that soon turns into a much deeper mystery. His probe leads him to a missing person’s case from an old film shoot, unraveling long-buried secrets.
At the core of the mystery is Rajendran, a man who confessed to a crime before his death, setting off a chain of revelations. Vivek’s investigation connects his confession to the disappearance of a young girl during the filming of Kathodu Kathoram (1985), directed by Bharathan. As he pieces together the truth, the case takes unexpected and chilling turns.
