However, for the people who are living under the rock, the famous YouTuber copied Sammy Walsh’s joke about ‘parents’ intimate moments’, which she said on her podcast, OG Crew’s Truth or Drink. The YouTuber dropped this awkward joke on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. On the panel, Ranveer sat alongside Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Mukhija, and the show’s host, Samay Raina. What followed was an FIR lodged against Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina from Maharashtra Cyber Police and Assam Police. A total of around 30 people were booked under section 67 (transmission of obscene material in electronic form) of the Information Technology Act. Meanwhile, Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Mukhija recorded their statement at the Khar police station in Mumbai. Punjabi singer, B Praak was the first celebrity to publically announce that he had cancelled his podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia. Soon, Indore Police filed a complaint against Ranveer Allahbadia and started an investigation.
