
YouTuber and podcaster, Ranveer Allahbadia has been in the soup ever since he passed a crass comment on parents when he appeared as a jury on Samay Raina’s, India’s Got Latent. Multiple FIRs were filed against him and ever since then there has been a hue and cry about his comment in the nation. He did not appear at the Khar police station despite a summon being passed to him concerning his vulgar joke. Now, Ranveer has issued his first statement amid the controversy and claimed to be scared, getting death threats.
Ranveer Allahbadia issues his first statement after he failed to visit Khar Police station
Ranveer reportedly was to come to the Khar police station on February 13, 2025, but he failed to be present. His team assured him he would come on February 14, 2025, but he did not arrive. He took to his Instagram handle to write a statement on February 16, 2025, in which he said that he and his team are cooperating with the police and the other authorities. He obeyed to follow due process and be available to all agencies. Ranveer admitted that his remark about parents was insensitive and disrespectful. His moral responsibility was to do better, and he is genuinely sorry about the same. In his post, Ranveer mentioned getting death threats and his mom’s clinic being invaded. A part of his post read:
“I’m watching death threats pouring from people saying that they want to kill me and hurt my family. People have invaded my mother’s clinic posing as patients. I’m feeling scared and I don’t know what to do. But I am not running away. I have full faith in the police and the judicial system of India.”
