Bengali actor, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, best known for his role as a cop, ‘Satyaki Sinha’ in Vidya Balan starrer, Kahaani will be embracing fatherhood soon. The Tollywood actor and his wife, Piya Chakraborty, got married in 2023 and it was on Valentine’s Day 2025, that the couple announced their baby was on the way. The pair is expecting their first baby in 2025 and took to their social media feed to announce the arrival of their little one in the sweetest way.

Parambrata and Piya selected February 14, 2025, as the day to reveal to their fans that they would become parents soon. In his sweet post, the actor mentioned that he and Piya were a bit late for the Valentine’s party. He then added three pictures to his post. The first one was a mushy snap of him and Piya. The second one was of his dog, Nina, who was the eldest and then in his post, he revealed how their cat, Bagha, came into their lives in 2024. The fourth one was a cute announcement post of “Baby on the way”. His post further read:
“We were busy with this: This is us. This is our eldest, Nina. Then last year came Bagha. Our bubble of love is growing: a human being to join the tribe soon!”
