Aarya Babbar first broke the news that the Babbars’ weren’t invited to Prateik Babbar’s wedding in a viral conversation with the Times Of India. In a new interview with Bollywood Bubble, he shared the reason for doing so. He explained that he wished the best for the newlyweds but felt everyone needed to know that Prateik particularly disrespected his father, Raj Babbar, who was the love of his late mother, Smita Patil. In his words:
“I wish the couple the best, but I think it was very important for the world and our industry and media and for our friends to know that the boy did not call his father and the boy did not call his family. It was important for everyone to know that he disrespected the love of his mom, Smita Mam, and I think I have communicated that already.”
