DJ Aqeel is a famous Indian DJ and music composer, whose Shake it Daddy Mix back in the 2000s brought him under the limelight. For the unversed, DJ Aqeel was married to Sussanne Khan’s sister, Farah Khan Ali. They had been together for 18 years, including their dating days, and after the same, they called it quits. In a recent interview, DJ Aqeel talked about his separation from Farah, and while doing the same, he also split the beans about his ex-sister-in-law, Sussanne Khan’s divorce with Hrithik Roshan, that happened during the same time.

Talking to Siddharth Kannan, on his YouTube, DJ Aqeel said that his ex-wife, Farah Khan Ali is an amazing human being and she loves his music. When asked about the reason for their divorce, DJ Aqeel said that they kind of drifted apart, and it mostly happened because of his lifestyle. He added that they stayed together for almost 18 years, including two years of dating and one year of their engagement, followed by their marriage. DJ Aqeel also recalled the time he went to meet Farah’s actor-father Sanjay Khan wearing a kurta for the first time and getting a green signal. He revealed that there was no such resistance, and Sanjay clearly told him that as Farah loved Aqeel, it was everything.
