Weddings in India are no longer comprised of a coy bride and groom, who had literally no say in their wedding attire to the shaadi decor. Modern Indian weddings are all about making them look bigger, better, and trendier. In the race to trend on the internet, brides are ditching the red attires and going all pastels. And when we thought we had seen enough pastels, we stumbled upon a bride who wore a unique mint-hued saree with traditional motifs of the traditional Hindu Goddess Lakshmi.
The bride wore a unique mint blue saree with a traditional bejewelled blouse and a dupatta with Krishan Leela
For her mehendi ceremony, the bride picked a mint blue-hued saree. The outfit featured a delicate gold gota and mirror-work. The saree was styled with a bejewelled metal blouse with the motif of Goddess Lakshmi as she kickstarted the new journey of her life. It also had tassel detailing of elephants, which is another auspicious motif for a bridal outfit.
