Recently, AR Rahman’s former wife, Saira, was hospitalised in Los Angeles following a medical emergency. However, details of her ailment are not yet known, but she had to undergo surgery. On February 20, 2025, Saira issued a statement by her lawyer, wherein she hoped for a speedy recovery. The statement read:
“On behalf of our client, Mrs. Saira Rahman, Vandana Shah and Associates issues the following statement regarding her current health condition. A few days ago Mrs. Saira Rahman was hospitalised due to a medical emergency, and underwent surgery. During this challenging time, her sole focus is on a speedy recovery.”
