Aarya Babbar has started his journey in stand-up comedy and recently gave a performance where he spoke about his family’s complex lives. In a video, he recalled that as a kid, he was often bothered by the media who wanted him to say something about his father’s affair with Smita Patil. Consequently, it affected the bond between Aarya and his father. In his words:
“When I was 6-7 years old, I used to enjoy playing hide and seek, but I wasn’t playing hide and seek with my friends. I was playing it with the media. They would pop out of nowhere, throw a microphone in my face and ask me, ‘Your father is having an affair. How do you feel?'”
