Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani tied the knot in a traditional ceremony. However, Filmfare noticed that veteran actress Rekha’s beautiful ensemble has a connection to Amitabh Bachchan’s Black (2005).

She styled her black, gold and then-pink bordered traditional saree with heavy jhumkas comprising pearl detailing and red and white bangles. For her makeup, Rekha had gone all out with kohl and liner-heavy eyes, red lips and blushed cheeks. However, Rekha had chosen to wear a stone stud on her nose, which elevated her appearance.

But there’s much to talk about the change in the border. It now comprises intrinsic golden detailing on a red base. This piece of fabric is tied to the rest of the saree with golden thread work. This time around, Rekha chose to style the saree with heavy pink and white jewellery with green details. The jhumkas have a golden base, with pink and white stones and tiny pearls all over. Her accessories also include a beautiful pink and golden maang tikka.
Rekha being Rekha, we can only expect perfection from her. She chose bright red lips, and a highlighted makeup look for the evening. She wore pink eyeshadow with mascara-based eye makeup. She completed her look with a tiny red bindi.
While she had chosen a black and golden blouse for the 2005 premiere of Black, Rekha went with a red and golden blouse from Manish Malhotra’s designs this time. She paired it with red and golden stone-studded bangles.
