Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially finalised their divorce. As per reports, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted them a divorce settlement on Friday. Lopez filed for the dissolution of their marriage in August 2024 and after weeks, the divorce took effect on February 21, 2025.
Jennifer and Ben tied the knot in a surprise ceremony in July 2022. Now, Lopez has now dropped “Affleck” from her legal name, officially marking the end of their marriage. Both stars have agreed that neither will pay spousal support, and with no children involved, custody arrangements were not part of the settlement.
This was the second time the pair had come together romantically. In the early 2000s, Lopez and Affleck, referred to as Bennifer, were one of Hollywood’s most popular couples. Their engagement ended abruptly in 2004. They rekindled their romance in 2021 before marrying in 2022.
Lopez has been married four times and shares twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck divorced actress Jennifer Garner in 2018.
