Recently, Riddhima broke her silence about the same.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni recently sat for an interview with the Hindustan Times, wherein she was asked about the viral video of Samara. She clarified that the incident was blown out of proportion, and there was nothing like her daughter was upset about Neetu Kapoor coming into the frame, nor did she push her. She shared that Samara was just trying to pose, and was very excited about the photographers being there at the event. Riddhima recalled her daughter saying that she would pose in front of the paps. Riddhima remarked that the photographers were asking them to come together, and Samara wanted to pose on her own, and she didn’t push her nani. In Riddhima’s words:
“The poor child was only trying to pose. She wasn’t upset. She was very excited, so much so that in the car she kept saying, ‘Oh my God, I’m sure there are gonna be photographers and I’m gonna pose like this and that’. And because the paparazzi were asking us to come together, she just wanted to pose on her own. She didn’t push her nani.”
