Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, is all prepared to make his theatrical debut alongside Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s daughter, Khushi Kapoor, in the film, Loveyapa. On January 10, 2025, a grand trailer launch event in Mumbai was organised by the makers of the film. Proud father, Aamir Khan attended the event to show his support for his son.
Aamir Khan revealed he was an absent father
At the event, Aamir shared how proud he is of his son and the way he has conducted himself. For the unversed, Junaid is Aamir’s son with his first wife, Reena Dutta. During a speech, the overwhelmed father expressed how seeing his son enter the industry he had worked in for over three decades made him emotional. He was quoted saying:
“As a father, I have been quite absent. I used to be in my own world while my kids navigated their childhood on their own. Today, I am extremely proud of how Junaid chose a career path for himself on his own terms. I have been in the industry since 1988. It has been over 36 years. Now that my son has also stepped into the same industry, it is a very emotional moment for me. I really wish him well.”
