Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their daughter Raha in 2022, and ever since, the two have been doting parents to their baby girl. In a recent interview, the Jigra actress opened up about Ranbir as a father and called him sensible and sensitive. She also shared that the Rockstar actor is very ‘hands-on’ when it comes to their daughter.
Talking to Esquire India, the actress said, “He’s sensible that way. He’s far more sensitive than he lets on. He’s shy, so he holds a lot back. But with her (Raha), he’s incredibly expressive. His eyes, his face, everything lights up. He almost becomes a child himself.”
She went on to share that Ranbir took a month off work after Raha’s birth to be by her side and spend time bonding with their newborn. She added, “He would go for a shoot and literally run home. He’d run straight into the room to see her.”
Not just this, Alia also responded to rumours of discord in their marriage. Addressing the online chatter and speculations, she continued, “The noise doesn’t reach us. Because it’s not real. They’re responding to three-and-a-half seconds or seven seconds of what they’re seeing. We’ve been together for seven years. That’s way more seconds than what people are commenting on.”
Alia continued, “Even the B of bother doesn’t enter our lives. If you’re in a room of fifty people, maybe only four actually care about you. The rest might be thinking terrible things, but you can’t hear them. Is my reality changing? No. Is my family dynamic changing? Not at all. Am I living my dream? Yes. Do I go to sleep every day with a grateful heart? One hundred per cent.”
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s relationship blossomed after they met on the sets of Brahmastra. After dating for a couple of years, the couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding on April 14, 2022, at Ranbir’s home in Mumbai’s Vastu building. The couple’s bond has since grown with the birth of their daughter, Raha, in 2022.
