The war of words started when Ameesha revealed that she was dismayed with the way the character was portrayed in the film. Now, after a long silence, the filmmaker, Anil, addressed her remarks in an interview with Vickey Lalwani on his YouTube channel.
Anil Sharma responds to Ameesha Patel’s scathing remarks
Anil Sharma, during his interview with Vickey Lalwani, was informed that Ameesha, during one of her interviews, had made a remark about the film. She stated that Gadar, as a brand, revolved solely around her character ‘Sakina’, Sunny Deol’s ‘Tara Singh’, and Utkarsh Sharma’s ‘Charanjeet’. However, the actress excluded the director from the list. Now, Anil has responded to the same and said:
“Unke mann mein jo hai unhe kehne do. Har insaan apni baat rakhne ke liye free hai. Unko lagta hai aisa hai toh aisa hai. Main keechad mein patthar nahi fekta”
