
After the success of the Artemis II mission, NASA recently introduced the four astronauts, who will be a part of the Artemis III mission. Reportedly, it is planned for 2027, and unlike previous missions, this one will not land on the moon; however, it will focus on technologies needed for the future. For those who do not know, Artemis II was launched a few months ago and it returned back on April 11, 2026. The crew of the Artemis III mission announced
A while ago, NASA announced the name of the four astronauts that will be a part of the Artemis III mission. Well, Randy Bresnik will be the commander, Luca Parmitano will be the pilot, and Frank Rubio and Andre Douglas will be the mission specialists. Apart from them, NASA also explained that astronaut, Bob Hines is the backup member. The NASA Administrator recently shared:
“Today we take another bold step in humanity’s return to the Moon, building on the extraordinary foundation laid by the Artemis II astronauts. Their achievements reignited global excitement for exploration, and now they pass the torch to the Artemis III team, Randy, Luca, Frank, and Andre.”
