Ghanta Naveen Babu, popularly known as Nani is celebrating his 41st birthday today. Known as ‘Natural Star’, the actor made his debut in 2008 with Astha Chamma, which was an Indian adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest. The film became a commercial success and shot him into the limelight. After doing a couple of more Telugu films, he ventured into Tamil cinema with Anjana Ali Khan’s Veppam and collaborated with SS Rajamouli for the bilingual film Eega. He also made his debut as a producer in 2013 with D for Dopidi. Nani is now one of the highest-paid actors in Telugu cinema.

Hit: The Third Case
The teaser of this film was released today to mark Nani’s birthday, who is also a co-producer. It is the third instalment in the HIT franchise and shows Nani as Arjun Sarkaar, a ruthless cop. It follows a series of murder cases that the police are unable to crack which makes them reach out to Sarkaar. However, the teaser ends at a cliffhanger as it hints that Nani’s character might not be a cop. He says, “People have believed this lie for far too long; I will show the original”. This is sure to make fans more excited. The Sailesh Kalanu directorial also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Surya Srinivas, Adil Pala and Brahmaji.
The Paradise
The Paradise marks Nani’s second collaboration with Dasara’s director Srikanth Odela. The Telugu actioner film also reportedly stars Janhvi Kapoor along with the actor. Aniruddh Ravichander will be taking care of the music for the film. As per reports, it is set in Hyderabad and follows an intense storyline. Nani X Sujeeth
The teaser of Nani’s yet untitled film, Nani 32 was unveiled last year in February. The film will be helmed by Sujeeth. The official teaser video of the film says, “The craziest combo – Nani and Sujeeth joining hands to take you on a roller coaster ride and deliver the best cinematic experience.”
