As the global countdown for the third season of the hit drama Euphoria begins, Indian fans have been treated to a creative surprise. While the original series, headlined by Zendaya, is set to return to screens on April 12, an AI artist has taken the internet by storm by reimagining the show with a heavy-hitting Bollywood cast. The digital artwork, shared by Instagram artist Siddhanta Abhishek (known as @myinternetiscrazy), recreates the intense world of East Highland High School with familiar faces from the Hindi film industry.
At the centre of the reimagination is Alia Bhatt, cast as Rue Bennett. Originally played by Zendaya, Rue is a 17-year-old recovering addict going through a chaotic path to recovery. The AI art captures Alia with an air of unpredictability that shows the character’s complex emotional force. Joining her is Sidharth Malhotra as the show’s antagonist, Nate Jacobs. Originally played by Jacob Elordi, Nate is a popular athlete who uses manipulation to control those around him. In the AI-generated visuals, Sidharth is seen with a signature smile, perfectly exuding the popular boy charm that no one trusts.

The cast continues with Janhvi Kapoor stepping into the shoes of Cassie Howard (played by Sydney Sweeney). The artist captures Janhvi with a sense of vulnerable emotion, aligning her with Cassie’s deeply insecure and validation-seeking nature. Meanwhile, Ananya Panday is envisioned as Jules Vaughn (originally Hunter Schafer), the self-discovering character whose presence often creates problems in Rue’s life.
While the entire lineup sparked discussion, it was Katrina Kaif’s transformation into Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie’s character) that truly set social media ablaze. Known for her confidence and iconic makeup looks, Maddy is a fan-favourite, and Katrina’s AI avatar did not disappoint. Fans flooded the comments section with praise, with one user mentioning, “Katrina as Maddy looks the best,” while another added, “Omg Kat looks hot!” Many fans argued that “Katrina would have pulled off Maddy so well,” highlighting her ability to match the character’s fierce energy.
While this Bollywood version remains an AI fantasy, the real Euphoria returns for its third season later this month on JioHotstar. The new season is expected to feature a five-year time jump from the events of Season 2, continuing the intense story.
