Dhurandhar fame Danish Pandor recently held an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit where he answered fans’ questions and reacted to popular moments from the film. Danish played the role of Uzair Baloch, who was shown to be a close associate of Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza Ali Mazari. The bond between the characters was loved so much by fans that it gave rise to hilarious Uzair + Hamza edits.
Pandor took to Reddit recently to write, “Hey all, this is Danish Pandor, an actor working across films, web series, and television. I have recently played the character of “Uzair Baloch” in the Dhurandhar franchise, produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios. It pushed me to explore a darker, grittier, more intense side and truly challenged me as an actor. You might have also seen me previously in Sacred Games and Chhaava. Happy to chat about Dhurandhar, my journey in the industry, the process behind my roles, and everything in between. Ask me anything.”

Netizens asked him several questions, from his preparation for his role, to his bond with Ranveer Singh and more.
When one user asked him about the fan edits with Hamza, the actor replied, “Yes I did come across a lot of them..laughed out loud as someone or the other was tagging me and sending a story..hahaha..thank you so much for all the love. (sic)”
Talking about his bond with Ranveer, Danish continued, “He didn’t know me. We met during the narration…such an amazing and humble soul, and beautiful human he is!! A confident, secure and selfless actor.”

He also spoke about the gory scene where his character kills a person and plays football with its head. Danish shared, “Thank you so much for such a lovely question..well yes it was quite overwhelming as it was my Third day of shoot and the movies are never being shot in a linear way!! But as an actor you have to be prepared with all the scenes well in advance in regards to the graph and the goal of every scene. My first anxiety was not to disappoint my director who has believed in me and given me such a pivotal part, secondly this scene we have never witnessed in the Indian cinema I guess ever. I was thrilled at the same time excited as well!! And homework always helps as an actor and transitioning yourself from one thought to another!! And its a very thin line where the scene would go flat or ott..I had to be careful about that too as viewers are very intelligent..so the thoughts ,the emotions and nuances should be well in place and the atmosphere, the situation, the set…is the amalgamation of all things put together!!I hope I didn’t disappoint anyone with that scene!! much love.”
Dhurandhar, which released in two parts, is directed by Aditya Dhar. Besides Ranveer Singh and Danish Pandor, the spy thriller also stars Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi and R Madhavan in key roles.
