Director Aditya Dhar recently shared an interesting response to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s review of Dhurandhar 2. Vanga watched the film alongside Prabhas earlier this week. In his reply on X, the Bollywood filmmaker described Prabhas as ‘a legend.’ This praise aligns with the current industry sentiment surrounding the superstar. Various production houses now officially label Prabhas as India’s biggest superstar. The trend began with promotional materials for Vanga’s upcoming film, Spirit. The makers of The Raja Saab have also adopted this title.
Mere Pyaare Sandeep,
I genuinely love the way you stand your ground and give it back when it matters. There’s a real honesty and belief in that and it’s something I truly respect.
I’ve always looked up to how you back your cinema without any doubt or noise.

Sandeep Vanga lauds Dhurandhar 2
The interaction between the two filmmakers showed a high level of mutual respect. Dhar expressed his genuine excitement for Vanga’s next project. He offered his support for the production of Spirit. Dhar told Vanga he would love to help a brother if the need ever arises. Industry observers are happy to see such prominent directors supporting each other’s work. Music forms a key element to the narrative styles of both Dar and Vanga. And they both have evolved into filmmakers with a mass-friendly aesthetic.

Meanwhile…fire broke on the sets of Spirit
In other news, a serious fire accident occurred on the sets of the movie Fauzi on Thursday evening (early reports incorrectly identified the film as Spirit). Camping tents on the sets reportedly got burned down during the accident. The incident happened during a scheduled shoot. Emergency services arrived quickly at the location to control the flames. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the immediate aftermath of the blaze. The crew members were evacuated safely from the danger zone. Authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire. Production has been temporarily halted to ensure the safety of the entire team. The film is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and might hit the cinemas in December 2026. The film co-stars Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada and Imanvi Esmail.
