During the April 7, 2026, interview with ETimes, Aditya was asked if Dhurandhar 2 will have a sequel or not, especially considering the end credits. In response, the actor said that nothing is confirmed yet, while appreciating how well the director plugged the scene. He praised the scene further, saying it was beautifully positioned. Aditya reiterated that he does not know whether the director wants to switch to something else, especially since this kind of thing is not discussed internally with the team. Calling Aditya Dhar a “mastermind”, the actor said that only he would know “what’s next in this for him.”
