Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh kickstarted 2025 by meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He shared photos and videos on his social media handle, giving a sneak peek into what transpired in the meeting.
He presented the PM with a poster from his recently concluded Dil-Luminati tour. The PM, on the other hand, praised him and said, “When a boy from an Indian village shines on the global stage, it feels amazing. Your family named you Diljit—and you truly keep winning everyone’s hearts.”
Diljit also spoke about yoga, culture and music with the Prime Minister. He then sang one of his hit songs, mesmerizing Prime Minister Modi.
His fans were delighted to see him meeting the PM and one of them called it an unexpected collaboration. His fellow musician B Praak left heart-shaped emojis in the comment section.
Diljit Dosanjh recently completed his Dil-Luminati 2024 tour in India. The last concert took place on December 31 in Ludhiana.
Earlier this year, he was seen in Crew alongside Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon and in Amar Singh Chamkila with Parineeti Chopra.
