The buzz around Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s wedding has just grown bigger. While their wedding preparations are yet to get into top gear, both families are steadily finalising all the formalities.
Wedding on February 26
We have learnt that Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda will enter wedlock on February 26 at a destination wedding in an iconic palace in Udaipur. Both actors, who are presently shooting for their respective films and also for a film together (Ranabaali), will take a break from work around the second week of February. The designs and palettes of the wedding invitations are being finalised by the couple. In fact, Vijay and Rashmika collectively decided to get married in Udaipur. Rashmika had visited Udaipur a few times to check the locations and suitability of the venue. A source close to the actors informs that close friends of Vijay and Rashmika from the film industry will be invited. Apparently, they want to keep the wedding a close-knit family affair. “Only Vijay’s close friends like director Sandeep Vanga, and actors and directors who have worked with him, will be invited for the wedding. This is a conscious decision taken by them for privacy.”
Reception in Hyderabad
After the wedding in Udaipur, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are set to host a reception for fans and the film industry. Since most of their friends are from the Telugu film industry, they have decided to host the reception and invite important members from the industry.
The couple reportedly got engaged at Vijay’s Hyderabad residence in the first week of October. The engagement was a hush-hush ceremony that was strictly kept private and confidential. Neither Rashmika nor Vijay spoke about it, but news emerged on social media. The development prompted the rumour mills to buzz louder than ever.
