The wedding festivities of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, ‘Virosh,’ began on a sparkling note in Udaipur. While the wedding is set to take place on February 26, the soon-to-be- couple’s sangeeth was held on Tuesday night. And the pre-wedding celebration turned out to be a high-energy affair, focusing on music, dance, and performances by family and friends.
Vijay, Rashmika play a perfect host
After a Virosh Premier League, the heartfelt sangeeth celebration punctuated elaborate performances, designer outfits, and significant celebrity turnout. The intimate event featured dances and performances of various celebs who reportedly grooved to medleys, popular Bollywood and South tracks. Some of the celebs who attended the sangeeth were Kalyani Priyadarshini, Ashika Ranganath, Tharu Bhaskar, Eesha Rebba, Vamsi Paidipally and Sravya Varma. Arjun Reddy helmer and Vijay Deverakonda’s close friends Sandeep Reddy Vanga missed out on the Sangeeth. But the filmmaker will join the pre-wedding celebrations from Wednesday. Vijay and Rashmika played a perfect host and had a blast during the fun-filled ceremony. They were joined by friends, siblings, and extended families for themed, choreographed routines.
The ‘haldi and mehendi’ ceremonies of VIROSH’s wedding will be held in morning and evening respectively. Vijay’s mother reportedly gifted heirloom bangles to Rashmika as a gesture of love and acceptance into the family. The couple has reportedly kept the guest list for their wedding limited. Only a select few from the Telugu film industry, apart from the people Vijay and Rashmika worked in the industry, have been invited. Vijay and Rashmika, who worked together in films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, officially announced their wedding following a long-term relationship. The wedding is likely to experience a touch of South Indian tradition. The couple will also host a reception in Hyderabad on March 4 for industry colleagues and friends.
