Hailey Bieber shares she was diagnosed with a scary medical condition ahead of her pregnancy
Recently, the 29-year-old model, Hailey Bieber, appeared on the SHE MD podcast, hosted by Mary Alice Haney and Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi. During the conversation, she opened up about her pregnancy journey. She called it ‘magical’. Hailey shared that she was diagnosed with a risky medical condition, that is a uterine septum, ahead of her pregnancy. For the uninitiated, the uterine septum is a genetic condition where a thin wall forms in the uterus. Hailey recalled how the co-host, Dr. Aliabadi, who was also a gynaecologist, gave her an alert regarding the medical condition. Hailey was quoted as saying:
“It was a surprise. Yeah. So I had a septum in my uterus, and Dr. A kept saying, ‘Well, we need to look at this and keep an eye on it before you get pregnant because it could potentially be an issue. I don’t really know. We’ve got to see. I might have to give you a small surgery for it. Not sure.’ And I was like, ‘Okay. Well, I’m not thinking about getting pregnant right now, so we’ll just cross that bridge when we get there.’ And then I magically got pregnant.”
