In a recent interview with Vickey Lalwani, Honey revealed that she and her ex-husband, Javed Akhtar, bonded over their sense of humour. She shared that Javed’s knowledge was very attractive. She mentioned it was humour that pulled them towards each other. Recalling their first meeting, Honey said:
“The first moment I met him was when he was narrating my lines on set. I was rehearsing and he was explaining my character’s background. The first thing that attracted me towards Javed sahab was his sense of humour. He was very funny. His knowledge was very attractive. He always says he was attracted to me because of my sense of humour. Maybe humour pulled us towards each other.”
