The upcoming movie Housefull 5 is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. It also boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan and more. Recent reports suggest that the movie, set on a cruise ship, is reportedly going to be a murder mystery with comedy.
According to a recent report from Bollywood Hungama, the movie will have a whodunit plot. A murder happens on the cruise ship and the cast will be treated as suspects. Two actors will play the role of police officers. “Two of the actors play cops and while they try to find who the murderer is, the makers promise a lot of laughter and madness,” the report added. It also mentioned that the film is filled with desi-style entertainment.
The cast also includes Riteish Deshmukh, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangda Singh, Soundarya Sharma, Dino Morea, Shreyas Talpade, Nikitin Dheer, Johny Lever, Chunky Panday, Ranjeet, and Akashdeep Sabir.
After wrapping up the movie in December 2024, the makers had shared, “That’s a wrap for Housefull 5! A rollercoaster of emotions, filled with laughter, hard work, and unforgettable memories. Get ready to laugh your hearts out on 6th June 2025 in cinemas near you!!”
According to other reports, the trailer for Housefull 5 will be theatrically dropped in March 2025 and attached with Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s action movie Sikandar.
Housefull 5 is being directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is slated to hit the theatres on June 6, 2025. Stay tuned for more updates.
