The industry is currently abuzz with the release of the action-thriller O’Romeo, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. While fans have been praising the film, the film has also caught the attention of Bollywood’s biggest names. Among the many celebrities sharing their reviews, Hrithik Roshan has come forward to offer his praise for Shahid Kapoor’s latest outing.
Hrithik Roshan, known for his own prowess in the action genre, took to X to share his thoughts on the film. He was particularly impressed by Shahid Kapoor’s portrayal of the character Ustara. In his post, Hrithik highlighted how the unique storytelling style of Vishal Bhardwaj manages to captivate the audience.

Throughout a career spanning 23 years, Shahid Kapoor has experimented with a vast range of roles, from his early days as a romantic lead in Ishq Vishk to the intense rebel seen in Kabir Singh. However, according to Hrithik’s review, the action-thriller space is where Shahid truly shines with flying colors. His tweet read, “The quirkiness of #ORomeo eventually wins you over. I had fun. O’Romeo features a stellar ensemble cast alongside Shahid Kapoor, including Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, and Vikrant Massey.
Aside from his movie reviews, Hrithik Roshan is stepping into a new phase of his own career. His father, Rakesh Roshan, recently confirmed to Pinkvilla that Hrithik will be making his directorial debut with Krrish 4. Rakesh Roshan mentioned that he is passing the baton to his son, saying, “Krrish has entertained audiences the world over, and Hrithik will now reveal the next chapters of this superhero saga and take the vision I created so many years ago to greater heights.” The film will be produced by Aditya Chopra.
Additionally, Hrithik is set to venture into production with a drama series titled Storm under his banner, HRX Films. The project features an ensemble cast including Saba Azad, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, Rajit Kapur, and Ashish Vidyarthi.
