The story of Karuppu focuses on ‘Saravanan’ (played by Suriya), a lawyer by profession. Being a righteous advocate, ‘Saravanan’ stands as the protector of the marginalised community during an unrest period. When a threat prevails to demean the values of the community, ‘Saravanan’ stands up to protect them. As time passes, ‘Saravanan’s’ life gets complicated as he needs to deal with his powerful enemies and cope with the emotional challenges tied to his family and faith.
