Kiara Advani shared a couple of heartwarming photos with her in-laws, Sidharth Malhotra’s parents, amid his father Sunil Malhotra’s passing. She shared clicks from her wedding, where the family seemed to be enjoying to the fullest.
Opening up about her relationship with her father-in-law, Kiara penned, “From the very beginning – you welcomed me with open arms, steady wisdom, and a kind of unconditional love that grounded us all.”
She shared about Sunil’s warmth and generosity. She wrote, “Your warmth was constant. Your generosity effortless. Your love for your family was at the center of everything you did. You showed up – every single time. You listened with intention. You remembered the little things. You gave so freely, never expecting anything in return.”
Kiara further added, “Your stories, your laughter, your quiet strength, and your gentle heart will stay with me forever. You leave behind a legacy of gentleness, integrity, and deep, unwavering love. It lives on in your children, grandchildren and in all of us who were blessed to know you.”
She concluded, “Rest peacefully. You will forever be missed, forever loved, and forever remembered.”
For those unaware, Sunil Malhotra passed away in Delhi on February 14, 2026. Sidharth and Kiara had rushed to the capital to take part in his last rites. The actor penned a goodbye note for his father too. A part of it read, “He was a man of rare honesty, integrity and culture. He lived by values that never bent. Discipline without harshness. Strength without ego. Positivity, even when life tested him beyond measure.” As per reports, he was suffering from a prolonged illness.
Celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Karan Johar and several others expressed their condolences.
