Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle, often described as one of the most defining voices of Indian cinema, has passed away at the age of 92. The veteran artist reportedly breathed her last in Mumbai after being admitted to Breach Candy Hospital, where she had been undergoing treatment for age-related health complications. According to early reports, the singer had been unwell for some time and was under close medical supervision in her final days.
