Retro fever hits full volume as Madhuri Dixit Nene and Jackie Shroff bring back peak 90s charm on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4. The Dil Toh Pagal Hai actress revisited her first memory of seeing Jaggu Dada on the sets of Karma during a song shoot, with Anil Kapoor also present.
Laughing, she recalled how both Shroff and Kapoor kept glancing her way mid-shoot, making the moment impossible to forget. When host Kapil Sharma teased, “Dada aap apni Rehearsal chhod ke inka dance kyu dekh the?”, Jackie Shroff replied, “Kabhi kabhi bhidu, apne aap ko bhulna padta hai.”
The filmy nostalgia didn’t stop there. Madhuri joked that after doing so many romantic films, she now feels she can “romance even a pathar.”
Kapil then cheekily asked Jackie if his blood pressure was fine, to which the actor quipped that he was looking for Dr Nene (Madhuri’s husband). Jackie also admitted that he was never nervous about dancing with Madhuri because he knew everyone would just look at her instead of him.
The episode with Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff will be released on February 21st on Netflix.
