Shahid Kapoor celebrates his 44th birthday today. To mark the special occasion, his wife, Mira Kapoor shared a sweet post. Calling him the love of her life, she shared a sweet photo along with a heartfelt note.
Mira Kapoor took to her social media handle to share a snap with Shahid Kapoor. The two can be seen decked up and sweetly gazing at each other against a hazy backdrop. It’s the definition of couple goals. Mira captioned the post, “Love of my life, light of my world. Happy Birthday to my forever. In the middle of everything and at the end of it all, you’re the one. The magic is in you,” along with a red heart and evil-eye emoji.

Shahid and Mira tied the knot back in July 2021. They exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at a farmhouse in Delhi. The two also had a Gurudwara wedding with traditional Sikh rituals before hosting a star-studded wedding reception. Since then, Shahid and Mira have been making headlines with their appearances together. Mira often shares glimpses of their life together. Shahid and Mira have two kids – daughter Misha and son Zain Kapoor.

In an exclusive chat with Filmfare back in 2020, Shahid Kapoor had opened up about his partnership with Mira. He shared, “Mira’s my biggest reality because we share our lives together. In the past four years, she’s constantly said, “Shahid, when your films didn’t work, I used to wonder what was going on? I’ve been part of the struggle too for four years. I’ve been there with you through your highs and lows. Now I know.” There’s a partnership, there a sense of achieving together.”
He further added, “She got married so young, had two kids and had to figure out how to deal with that when she was just stepping out of being a kid herself. She must have had her dreams and desires but she pushed those aside. That’s a lot to deal with. Also, the fact that we have an age difference, we are 13 years apart. We need to understand how to bring up the kids together responsibly. We’re learning how to deal with things together. Sometimes we’re each other’s best friends. Sometimes we just don’t understand each other. It’s all happening simultaneously.”
