
Nassar, born Muhammad Hanif, is an Indian actor, director, producer, dubbing artist, singer and politician. He works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. However, he has also done a few Kannada, English, Hindi and Bengali films as well. Nassar is a well-respected person and has three sons, the eldest being, Abdul Asan Faizal.
Nassar opens up about his son, Faisal’s life-altering accident
Humans’ faith in a higher power and miracles is what gives them hope in the darkest of times. While it’s possible to explain every miracle with science, having faith that there is something beyond comprehension which can give comfort to humanity. A similar miracle happened with the Indian actor-producer-politician, Nassar when his son, Faisal, met with a life-threatening accident and his recovery involved the son’s love for his matinee idol, Vijay. In a recent podcast with OMG, Nasaar opened up about the accident that took place in 2014 and shared:
“He was unconscious for over 14 days, was in a coma, and we even took him to Singapore for treatment. When he regained consciousness for the first time, he didn’t say ‘Amma’ or ‘Appa’. The first word he said was ‘Vijay.’ I even teased him about dressing up like Vijay, walking, and even dancing like Vijay. He used to brush it off, saying it was just a reflection of his age.”
