After Snowdrop, BLACKPINK member Jisoo is all set to enthrall her fans with her performance in another drama, Newtopia. However, this time she is not playing a sweet and meek schoolgirl. She will be seen as a fierce woman battling to stay alive in a world hit by a Zombie apocalypse.
Recently, the makers dropped fresh stills featuring her alongside her other co-stars.
In one of the photos, she is seen sitting in a class full of boys with one of them seemingly proposing to her with a bouquet. Another photo shows her with a hockey stick and blood splattered all around her. The makers also shared a photo of Jisoo sporting an intense look as she battles to survive.
During an interview earlier, Jisoo had opened up about her role and the challenges and said, “Honestly, nothing was difficult but it did get tough with the heat later on. Wearing the same outfit in December and in July. I didn’t used to watch that genre. I searched after receiving the script. But when I do, I start thinking a lot, ‘Hey! What if it were me?’ Like that. So, you know that movie Warm Bodies where the person pretends to be a zombie? Like they pretend to be lagging. I’d run toward the zombies. I’d be the first to turn into a zombie.”
