Puneet Khurana the owner of popular Woodbox Cafe, died by suicide on December 31, 2024, at his home in Model Town’s Kalyan Vihar area. Puneet, 40, reportedly took the drastic step after he was harassed and given mental distress by his estranged wife, Manika Pahwa. Now, Puneet’s grieving mother has made an emotional plea demanding justice for her son.

Puneet’s mother, during an interview with ANI, revealed that her son and Pahwa were fine for a year. However, after that there were frequent issues between the two of them. She even separated them at one point, thinking it would bring them happiness. Puneet’s mom cried profusely and said:
“But even then, she continued to torture my child. My son quietly endured it all. Sometimes it was about money, sometimes about their joint business, and other times family matters. Oh God, my child is gone. Please give justice to my son so his soul can find peace.”
