The next film to be re-released in theatres is Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera. Recently, we have seen a rise in the trend of re-releasing old Bollywood movies in theatres again and some of them such as Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Sanam Teri Kasam witnessed huge audience footfall.
Now, keeping up with this trend, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha and Vikrant Massey’s 2013 film Lootera will be released in theatres again.
PVR Cinemas’ social media page made the announcement with a post that read, “It’s time, everyone! Experience the magic of Lootera once again on the big screen, starting March 7. Re-releasing at PVR INOX on March 7!”
Meanwhile, Motwane’s film is partially based on O Henry’s short story The Last Leaf. It stars Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles along with Barun Chanda, Vikrant Massey, Arif Zakaria, Divya Dutta and Adil Hussain.
