Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s post-wedding festivities continue to make headlines. On Monday, the couple made a public appearance in the groom’s hometown after a spiritual visit to a TTD temple in Hyderabad. Following the temple visit, the duo travelled to Thummanpeta, Vijay’s ancestral village in Mahbubnagar. There, they conducted the traditional Sathyanarayana Swamy Puja, a ritual commonly performed in southern India after marriage to seek divine blessings for a prosperous married life. The ceremony was held with devotion in the presence of close family members and guests.
The local community, including several of Vijay’s ardent fans, gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds. Their arrival turned into a celebratory moment for the village, with enthusiastic cheers and warm welcomes marking the occasion.
Adding a deeply personal touch to the ceremony, the puja was performed at a newly constructed family home in the village. Photos of the residence and the couple participating in the rituals have since surfaced online, quickly going viral on social media.
